The Dangers That Lurk in Popular Children's Food Menus
The featured foods at most kids' events are pizza, burgers, hotdogs and soft drinks. For birthday parties there's the ice cream and cake to top it all off. What's wrong with this picture?
As a nation our kids are unhealthier than ever with cancer, diabetes and ADHD rates on the rise and no real solutions in sight…except…
As a parent, you are responsible for your kid's health and good nutrition is at the heart of it all.
Your children are your most precious gift. You teach them by example and your every thought, word and action. What you feed your children, especially during the early years, will shape their health and vitality throughout their lives. Starting with the freshest, most vibrant and clean sources of nutrients to feed their growing bodies is vital to their health and development. Fresh, plant foods grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and minimally processed, are loaded with nutrients and life giving qualities that build strong bodies, minds, and spirits.
Let Us Teach Your Children How to Choose the Most Nutritious Foods and Avoid All the Processed Food That
Robs Them of Their Vitality
Most parents I consult with say that the most difficult aspects of improving their children's diets are the inclusion of vegetables and the avoidance of sugar.
We'll teach your kids how to make whole, gluten-free, dairy-free nutritious versions of favorite foods that wow their friends and are easy and quick to make -- and we'll include lots of vegetables and avoid sugar.
This is a hands on class where they'll actually get to make the foods with your help whenever they need it. We'll teach them basic nutrition principles using fun and games and they'll get to eat as they learn.
